CYBER SECURITY SEMINAR

Ms. Varsha Chaurasia recently participated in a Cyber Security workshop organized by the Ujjain Sahodaya group of schools, delving into the crucial aspects of cyber ethics. The workshop focused on safeguarding internet-connected systems, including hardware, software, and data, against cyber threats. This practice is essential for both individuals and enterprises to counter unauthorized access to data centers and other computerized systems. Covering a diverse range of topics, the workshop addressed aspects such as digital space, computer care, network security, application security, cloud security, mobile and device security, and insights into viruses and antivirus software.
The workshop also provided a practical list of top cybersecurity tips, emphasizing the importance of:

  • Awareness about Cyber Threats.
  • Regularly updating software.
  • Exercising caution when dealing with suspicious emails.
  • Utilizing antivirus and antimalware software on electronic devices.
  • Implementing strong password practices.
  • Backing up data regularly.
  • Being vigilant against phishing scams.
  • Creating temporary email IDs for added protection.
The event took place at St. Mary’s Convent Sr.Sec School, located at Dewas Road, Azad Nagar, Rishi Nagar, Ujjain (M.P.) 456010, on Saturday, 04/11/2023, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
The workshop was facilitated by resource persons Ms. Savita Saluja Mam and Ms. Ragini Nagori Mam, adding valuable expertise to the sessions.
Ms. Varsha Chaurasia described the experience as highly enriching, signifying the value gained from the workshop in enhancing her understanding of cybersecurity practices
